Nuisance and Stale Alarms

Nuisance Alarms

The Nuisance Alarms lens is where the chattering and fleeting alarms are located. There are two types of nuisance alarms:
  • An alarm is chattering when it activates more than once in 10 minutes
  • An alarm is fleeting when it is typically active for a period of less than 5 minutes.
It is possible for an alarm to be both chattering and fleeting. The Nuisance lens will display alarms that are chattering/fleeting in the last 7 days.

Stale Alarms

A stale alarm is an alarm that has been active for more than 24 hours.
