How to Setup Email Subscriptions for Analytics Reports

Overview

Analytics reports don't have to be viewed only within the application. You can create a email subscription to reinforce important reports for yourself and others.

Email Subscriptions

Schedule delivery of an email subscription using the 3-dot menu in the top right corner of the solution as show below. Delivery occurs on a frequency that you define and the report is sent as a pdf, PNG, or CSV.

Navigate over to the "Advanced options" and check "Include custom link" - don't edit the path, this will put a login link into the email. If your report has tables, check "Expand tables to show all rows" option. This will ensure that your tables include all entries.

After saving your Schedule, we recommend you test the report results using the Send Now button.

Editing Scheduled Deliveries 

To edit your Scheduled Deliveries, select the 3 dot menu at the top of the report and then select "Schedule delivery". Your list of scheduled deliveries will appear. To modify or delete the delivery, select the 3 dot icon. Here you are able to select "Edit" to modify the filters, schedule, or details of the notification. Select "Delete" to remove the scheduled delivery.

Note: Email Subscriptions have to be edited by the creator of the initial subscription.

 

Unsubscribe

Recipients can opt to unsubscribe from the email they receive. If all recipients unsubscribe, the schedule will be deleted. To restart the notification, recreate it in Virtual Facility.
