Release Notes for Alarm Triage v3.0.0

Summer Release 2024

The goals for the Summer Release 2024 are to streamline the process of finding the right lens, ensure consistent visibility across teams, and introduce editing capabilities. The features outlined below support these goals. 

Assets, Alarms, and Work

Navigation 

We’ve updated navigation to Command Center, Assets, Alarms, Work, and Analytics. Work has been moved to its own page in VF. Previously, Work was part of both Triage and Explorer. Work has also been updated to display in a table format. 

 

Default Landing Page and Lens

Easily set your default landing page and lens by selecting the star next to the page or lens. 

 

Table Improvements

Lens data is now displayed in a more flexible table view. To save a table configuration (default columns, groupings, sort order), select the "Save table configuration" button. Admin and Manager roles can set the table configurations for team lenses. Table data can now also be exported from any lens - the data displayed is the data that will export. 

Team Lenses

Admin and Manager roles can create teams and team lenses. Team creation is in Settings. All users on the team can view the team lens; however, only Admin and Manager roles can create and edit lenses. Additionally, Admin and Manager roles manage the notifications on team lenses. 

Editing Alarm Contextual Name

Admin and Manager-level roles can modify the Alarm Contextual Name by double-clicking the alarm name. This name will be saved and not reset by any subsequent re-parses.

Other Updates included 

Components have been simplified in the Alarm Details. You are now able to select multiple components per alarm, if needed. 

Alarm Instrument Type has been removed from Alarm Details as part of the components simplification.
