Overview
During the spring release cycle, Virtual Facility focused on self-service configuration, normalization, reporting expansion, and user experience modernization. These updates reduced manual setup effort, improved consistency across alarm and CMMS workflows, and made the product easier to use in larger and more complex environments.
Repeat Work Reporting
The Repeat Work Report was expanded into a more dedicated reporting experience. Continued refinements across the season improved visibility into recurring work patterns, helping teams identify repeat issues and better understand where operational attention is needed.
Self-Service Configuration
Administrators gained new tools to manage configuration more efficiently. Alarm Source Mappings can now be imported from CSV, the Alarm Attributes Tool was expanded to include Shop, and CMMS configuration screens gained toolbar improvements, tooltips, and a clearer Update Display Order experience.
Alarm Attribute Aliases
Alarm Attribute Aliases were introduced and expanded across multiple releases. Aliases give administrators a faster way to normalize recurring alarm text patterns, improving alarm consistency and making downstream filtering, routing, and reporting more reliable.
Alarm Conditions and Parsing
High Warning and Low Warning alarm conditions were added to better distinguish early-warning states from critical alarm conditions. Additional parsing and normalization improvements strengthened category handling, warning-state consistency, and recurring alarm text interpretation.
CMMS Integration Enhancements
WebTMA integration gained support for Creator fields and internal defaulting of creator metadata during work creation. Dynamic template variables were also added for CMMS field values, enabling configuration such as dynamically calculated due dates. String-type normalized CMMS fields can now map directly from external ticket details without requiring unnecessary domain lookups.
Light and Dark Mode
Light mode and a Light/Dark mode selector were added to improve usability across different environments and user preferences. These updates make the application easier to view in both bright and low-light conditions.Light / Dark mode selector — dark theme

Frontend Modernization
The frontend platform was upgraded to Angular 21, with related stabilization around bundle size, service workers, supported browser targets, request lifecycle handling, navigation behavior, and stronger GraphQL contract alignment. These changes improved the maintainability and reliability of the user experience.
Scalability and Reliability
Spring also introduced customer-scoped ETL flood isolation, deferred ETL monitoring, improved large-tenant synchronization, bounded concurrency, retry refinements, idempotency improvements, and better tracing. Together, these updates improved reliability for higher-volume integrations and larger operational workloads.
