Command Center Configuration

The features in this article are available only in Enterprise Edition. 

Command Center is a feature that is configured with your Customer Success Representative. Once configured, these settings allow you to make any necessary modifications. 

Permissions 

Command Center changes can only be made by Admin-level users. A user's team determines access to a view in Command Center.

Settings

Each View within Command Center can be configured with different settings.  

  • View Name: The name that will display in the tab
  • Which teams can view this page: Controls what teams can access the view, multiple teams can be selected
  • Default Mode: If Map is enabled, the view can be set to display in "Awareness" or "Map" mode. Awareness lists assets while Map display a campus with buildings.
  • How to sort the entities: Entities can be displayed with either the latest or oldest active entity listed first. Recommendation is to keep Oldest on Top set.
  • Show in Command Center: Views will only display in Command Center when this setting is checked.
  • Section Name: Not required, but sections can be named. Up to 3 blocks will display in a section.
  • Block Name: Each block can have a unique name, but a name is not required.
  • Entity Filters: There are 4 different ways to filter what assets (systems, spaces, equipment) displays in the block.
    • Class: To show all assets within a class (multiple allowed)
    • Space Type: To show all spaces with a particular space type (multiple allowed)
    • Criticality: To show only assets with a particular criticality (multiple allowed)
    • Entities: To select particular entities (multiple allowed)
  • Always show all assets in Command Center: Assets can show in Command Center always or only when they have a critical alarm. When checked, assets without an active critical alarm will display with a Green indicator. 

Add a Block

Each section can have up to 3 blocks, for a total of 9 blocks displayed per view in Command Center. 

Delete View

To delete a view, select the red Delete View button. This action is irreversible and the view will have to be recreated if needed in the future.
