Background
Command Center provides a summarized facility status. Because of this Command Center uses sockets to update as changes happen and makes a great dashboard view for a shared monitor.
Set Up
- Create a user with minimal access privileges (Vendor Role) and assign them to a team that can view Command Center.
- On the computer that is serving up the shared monitor, login with that user and navigate to the Command Center.
- Star the Command Center page so it is defaulted.
Since the standard session timeout is 30 minutes and Command Center auto-refreshes using sockets, no further action is normally required. Note that it is possible that Command Center will lose its session due to a network outage or scheduled maintenance, requiring a user to reauthenticate.
